"Studying"

This is how I study. Are you wondering how I get good grades?

Snow Day Pranks

A couple weeks ago, it had snowed non-stop for about 2 and half days. So what did our family and friends decide to do? Completely encase our front door with huge blocks of snow. The day of the crime was a Friday. James and I were just clocking out of work and we decided to stop and chat with Aspen for a while. Little did we know, she was stalling us for the other pranksters, who weren't quite done doing their dirty deed. What a wonderful way to show love to those who are so close to you. This just proves that you should really keep your enemies close and your FRIENDS closer! Actually, I loved it and thought it was a great use of snow. I laughed so hard I sounded like my mom (who sounds like a chicken when she really gets going!).

I wasn't really mad. Actually, I laughed so hard that I almost cried!

Hunting with Ariel

Ariel was SO excited to go hunting last Christmas break. Here are some pre-hunting poses of the hunting party.

James' Birthday Fiesta!

We had a birthday party for James and a "Chelsea finally changed her name" party in March after Spring Break. James recieved some great gifts and we had a lot of fun playing games and being around each other. Many thanks go out to Sonnie and Ryan for inviting us to party at their apartment!

I could tell you why James got some new gloves...but he doesn't like when I tell that story. You will have to ask him yourself!

In case you can't read their shirts, Jared's says "original Larsen" and Chelsea's says "officially Larsen".
Ryan tried... REEALLY hard....to open a root beer by twisting the cap on his forearm.

Jessie the Big Red Dog

Over Spring Break, I also got to be Clifford the Big Red Dog!! Our family friend, Becky Packer, works at the public library in Lander and each year they go around to the elementary schools in Lander and the Reservation to talk about a program called Wyoming Reads. It was so much fun to see the kids get all excited about Clifford. I recieved about a million hugs and smiles. However, I have a new respect for those people who are mascots. I seriously started sweating about 2 minutes after I put the suit on! Anyway, here are some cute pictures.

The Falls

Over Spring Break, James and I and my brothers Zach and Daniel, and my sister Sarah hiked up the Falls in Sinks Canyon. It was quite muddy and wet, but a beautiful hike all the same. Sarah wanted to go so that she could take pictures for a photography contest, so we made it a family affair. Unfortunately I have no pictures of the actual Falls because we forgot to charge our camera battery, but here a few pictures of the hike up!

A Bonfire...In February

Call it a bad case of cabin fever...but it was too nice of a day (for Laramie) to just sit inside, so we decided to have a bonfire...in February! Adam, Aspen, Vance and James and I all went up to our spot up in Happy Jack to roast some dogs and mallows and enjoy the great outdoors. It was a little windy (imagine that!), so Adam engineered a windbreaker for us with a tarp, his trusty old Explorer, and bungee cords. We had a great time!

Adam cut into the frozen lake with his lil' beaver chain saw. The ice was thicker than the length of the blade!
